Easy Chocolate Fudge

From Nestlé recipe.
Makes 64 pieces of candy
Ingredients
- 2 cups (12 oz. pkg) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, divided (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line with foil or grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
- If using walnuts, set aside about 1/4 cup.
- Combine chocolate morsels and milk in a medium saucepan.
- Warm over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- If using walnuts, stir in remaining 3/4 cup.
- Transfer to baking pan and smooth out top.
- Sprinkle remaining nuts over the top. Press into fudge.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Remove from pan and cut into pieces.
Store refrigerated in airtight container.
