Easy Chocolate Fudge

From Nestlé recipe.

Makes 64 pieces of candy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (12 oz. pkg) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, divided (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line with foil or grease an 8 inch square baking pan.
  2. If using walnuts, set aside about 1/4 cup.
  3. Combine chocolate morsels and milk in a medium saucepan.
  4. Warm over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  6. If using walnuts, stir in remaining 3/4 cup.
  7. Transfer to baking pan and smooth out top.
  8. Sprinkle remaining nuts over the top. Press into fudge.
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  10. Remove from pan and cut into pieces.

Store refrigerated in airtight container.
