Based on Nestle's Easy Fudge.
Notes
During the holidays, Nestle starts selling Dark Chocolate and Mint morsels. If you can't find them, use 1 cup of semi-sweet morsels and 1 cup of white chocolate morsels. Stir in 1/4 tsp of mint extract and some green food coloring into the white morsels after they have melted.
Makes about 64 pieces
Ingredients
- 1 bag (10 oz) of Dark Chocolate and Mint morsels
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
- Separate out the dark and mint morsels.
- Melt dark morsels and about 1/2 of the can of milk in a saucepan over low heat.
- In a second saucepan, melt the mint morsels and the remaining milk.
- When the dark morsels are melted, add the vanilla and stir well.
- Pour about 1/2 the mint fudge in the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Pour all of the chocolate fudge on top of the mint fudge.
- Finish off the top of the fudge with the remaining mint fudge.
- Run a butter knife through the fudge in a figure eight motion, swirling the two colors together.
- Let cool at room temperature.
- Remove from pan, cut into squares, and store tightly sealed in the fridge.
