* 1 1/2 cups sugar&lt;br /&gt;
* 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) of butter&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 TBL light corn syrup&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 TBL water&lt;br /&gt;
* 2 cups walnuts, toasted and chopped&lt;br /&gt;
* 1 1/4 cups (oz) of milk chocolate chips&lt;br /&gt;

# Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.&lt;br /&gt;
# Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup in a heavy sauce pan.&lt;br /&gt;
# Heat mixture over medium-high heat until boiling.&lt;br /&gt;
# Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly until mixture registers 300° on a candy thermometer, about 10 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;
# Stir in 1 cup of the walnuts.&lt;br /&gt;
# Immediately pour mixture into prepared pan. Spread to 1/4&amp;quot; thickness.&lt;br /&gt;
# Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and wait for them to soften.&lt;br /&gt;
# Spread chocolate evenly over toffee.&lt;br /&gt;
# Sprinkle remaining 1 cup walnuts over chocolate.&lt;br /&gt;
